Introducing Ramen Finance — The liquidity engine for long-tail digital assets on Berachain

What is Ramen Finance?
Ramen Finance, at its core, is a liquidity engine within the Berachain ecosystem. Through our product stack and mechanisms, we aim to power liquidity for emerging protocols and communities, achieving this in the most cost-efficient manner while increasing capital efficiency and yield for liquidity providers.
We bear a strong conviction that Berachain has the potential to emerge as a leading alt-L1 network, distinguished by the deep liquidity in backed assets, especially in the forthcoming bull market. As we have witnessed in the previous bull market, we recognized that deep liquidity and high capital velocity were major contributing factors to the success of vibrant DeFi-focused alt-L1s such as Solana, Avalanche, and Terra.
This historical perspective fuels our optimism and underpins our anticipation of a dynamic proliferation of protocols and communities within the Berachain ecosystem that will provide DeFi, NFTFi, and meme plays that cater to the degenerated and the sophisticated across the entire IQ spectrum.
This leads us to discover a new paradigm — Should Berachain succeed in creating unparalleled accessibility to a potentially limitless array of protocols and communities, each yielding its own utility, governance, and meme tokens, there is immense economic value and scalability to serve the fragmented and underserved long-tail, which collectively represents a market share that will size up against the blue-chip assets in market capitalization and trading volume. And this is precisely why we exist.
Ramen Finance enables the new and the niche, which are often severely underserved in their liquidity needs. We are building a liquidity infrastructure that actively works to make the pie (or rather, the bowl of ramen) bigger and better for everyone.

Polar — Head of Product

Polar is a seasoned product manager and venture builder. His career is marked by significant roles, including a management stint at a Y-Combinator-backed enterprise and leading product development at a pioneering institutional crypto staking-as-a-service startup. Both ventures culminated in successful acquisitions.
Embarking on his web3 odyssey in 2016, Polar began as a writer and contributor to numerous investment DAOs. When not strategizing for Ramen Finance, you can find him indulging in the thrills of Texas Hold ‘em.
Pepar — Head of Engineering

Pepar’s career is decorated with pivotal roles in product development and engineering within both multinational corporations and Y-Combination-backed hyper-growth startups.
Before joining Ramen Finance, Pepar founded a web3 technology consulting studio, guiding NFT creators in smart contract development, tokenomics design, and general degenerate shenanigans. Though he is a man of few words, his unique blend of technical expertise, intense workrate, and leadership makes him an invaluable asset to the team.
Noral — Head of Growth

An MBA dropout turned web3 marketing maven (with stronk -tism), Noral brings a rare combination of sharp strategic insight and her signature warm personable flair to the growth of Ramen Finance.
Since taking the plunge into the web3 space in 2021, Noral has contributed to over ten protocols, sharpening her expertise in business development, marketing, and community growth. Prior to her involvement in web3, she led viral video productions in the creative & entertainment industry.
