The Hungrybera NFT collection will officially migrate to Berachain on its first anniversary, February 21, 2025.
To ensure a seamless transition and avoid a fragmented collection, the migration will be executed through a 1:1 airdrop on the Berachain mainnet rather than utilizing a bridge solution. As a Hungrybera NFT holder, you will not need to take any action or pay any fees to receive your Hungrybera NFTs on Berachain.
Migration Details
The migration will take place at an undisclosed time within the 24-hour window between 00:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC on February 21, 2025.
A snapshot of the Hungrybera NFT collection on Arbitrum will be taken to map token IDs to the respective addresses on Berachain. After the snapshot, a new Hungrybera collection will be deployed on Berachain mainnet, and NFTs will be distributed automatically to the rightful owners. The migrated Hungrybera NFT will retain their original token IDs, metadata, and images from Arbitrum.
To prevent confusion, the following changes will be applied to the original NFT collection on Arbitrum:
- Collection name will be changed to ‘Hungrybera (Legacy)’
- Metadata will be wiped
- All NFT images will be replaced with a uniform white-out Hungrybera
Upon the completion of the migration, an official announcement will be made via Ramen’s verified channels. Holders are encouraged to check their wallets on Berachain mainnet after the announcement.
Important Guidelines for Holders
Stay vigilant against scams
Avoid clicking on suspicious links. Do not interact with any links claiming to bridge Hungrybera NFTs. Ignore unsolicited messages; if you receive DMs regarding the migration, assume they are unsafe and verify all information via Ramen’s official channels or community team on Discord.
Cancel active bids on Hungrybera NFTs
If you have any active collection bids on Hungrybera NFTs on marketplaces such as Opensea or Magic Eden, cancel them before February 21. Failing to do so may result in unintentional purchases of obsolete legacy NFTs instead of the official ones on Berachain.
Do not purchase on migration day
If you plan to acquire a Hungrybera NFT, do so before February 21 or wait under February 22 to purchase on Berachain mainnet. Avoid trading or transferring NFTs on migration day (February 21) to ensure a smooth transition.
The Ramen team will not be liable for losses incurred due to holders’ negligence, such as
- Purchasing legacy NFTs after the snapshot
- Forgetting to cancel active bids and unintentionally acquiring obsolete NFTs
- Failing to secure the airdropped NFTs due to wallet activity during migration
As blockchain transactions are irreversible, we will not be able to accommodate appeals or reversal requests nor will we be liable for such losses incurred.
Hungrybera on Berachain Mainnet
Following the migration, only Hungrybera NFTs on Berachain will provide exclusive perks to holders. Legacy Hungrybera NFTs on Arbitrum will no longer grant any perks and will simply serve as an on-chain souvenir.
Hungrybera NFTs on Berachain will grant the following perks:
- Whitelisting and raffle opportunities for upcoming ecosystem NFT mints/token launches
- Boosted Gacha earn rate
- Points for RFA allocation distribution*
*Ramen has received a total of 147,778.8 $BERA in RFA allocation, of which 121,700.18 $BERA is reserved for rewarding active participation on Ramen. The detailed distribution methodology will be shared in an upcoming article.
Strategic Focus Forward
Now that Ramen is fully operational on Berachain, our primary focus will rightfully be to drive demand and value to the $RAMEN token, as previously communicated. Since all Hungrybera holders are also gRAMEN holders with the gRAMEN airdrop, as we build up value for $RAMEN, long-term supporters and users will continue to be rewarded for their support, participation, and contribution.
Hungrybera will continue to serve as an auxiliary asset and a common identity for members of one of the most engaged and active communities on Berachain.
