Behind the Priority Mint Lottery
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants who have engaged in and supported the Hungrybera Priority Mint Lottery. This event will see the allocation of 1,600 Priority Mint spots, with each of the 1,600 lucky winners being awarded the opportunity to mint two Hungrybera NFTs during the Priority Mint phase.
Sequence of Events
- February 11, 2PM UTC: A snapshot was taken to ascertain all wallets eligible to participate in the Lottery
- February 15, 2PM UTC: The Priority Mint Lottery begins
- February 19, 2PM UTC: The Priority Mint Lottery closes
- February 19, 2PM UTC: An announcement will be published on Ramen Discord server to generate a seed integer for the lottery draw algorithm
- February 19, 5PM UTC: Lottery winners will be determined and announced
Results & Key Stats
As of February 19, 2PM UTC, we have received a total of 289,929 entries into the Priority Mint Lottery from 189,467 unique wallets.
- Lottery Pool 1 (Ecosystem NFT holders): 18,366 entries were received from 1,830 unique wallets, from which 1,500 winners will be selected from this pool.
- Lottery Pool 2 (Berachain testnet participants): 271,563 entries were received from 187,637 unique wallets, from which 100 winners will be selected from this pool.
Winner Selection
The selection of the winners will be facilitated through a lottery draw algorithm, employing a random `seed` generated through community engagement.

The random seed integer will be obtained in the following manner: We will make an announcement in the Ramen Discord server shortly after the Lottery closes. For a period of 15 minutes, community members can freely react to the announcement. At the end of the 15-minute period, we will sum the number of reactions and obtain the seed integer.
With the seed, we will begin running the script to pick winning addresses based on the weight of their entries — the more entries, the higher the weightage. Once an address has been picked, it will be removed from the list together with its entries. The script will continue picking and removing addresses from the list until we have selected 1,600 winning addresses.
Anyone will be able to run the script with the seed integer to verify the fairness of the lottery draw.
